Monday Februay 5: National Day of Action when Lt. Ehren Watada goes on trial at Ft. Lewis, Washington

On Monday, February 5, 2007, when Lt. Watada goes on trial, supporters will rally outside the gates of Fort Lewis, Washington for a peaceful, non-violent demonstration.

Monday, February 5, 2007 9am –
Lt. Watada’s Military Court Martial begins 11:30am –
Student Rally with Iraq Veterans Against the War 1pm –
Political Art Performance 3pm

Rally and Vigil Fort Lewis, WA. Exit 119, off I-5

Bring a lunch, snacks, signs and a peaceful, positive attitude.
Dress warm — wear heavy/rain coats, hats, scarves and gloves.
We will provide coffee, and a warm space from the cold.
VISITORS PASS FOR VEHICLE To obtain a visitor’s pass for your vehicle, go to the Visitors Center located inside the Ft. Lewis Army Base main entrance located off of Interstate 5, Exit 120 on 41st Division Road. You must present the following documents for the driver, each passenger and for your vehicle:for the driver: valid driver’s license valid vehicle registration proof of current vehicle insurance
for each passenger: a valid government-issued identification, fox example, a state driver’s license or state I.D.

Security is high, and your vehicle may be inspected at any time. Failure to comply may result in denial of access to the base.
The court martial begins at 9 am. Allow extra time for processing at the Visitors Center, which opens at 6 am. Monday is a busy day at the center, so arrive early! WALK-ON ACCESS A valid government-issued ID is required. The legal building is located 1 mile from the main gate and Visitors Center. See Thank You LT.org
