Monsters. Yes, I believe in monsters. Human ones.

“Monsters. Yes, I believe in monsters. Human ones.”
I wrote that 28 years ago, and it [and the essay it is in] are still relevant today. Please read, “Too Many Kids Like My Bill” by Gabi Clayton; January 18, 1997; by Gabi Clayton.

Added note: I’ve tried to stay away from calling people evil and instead talked/written about them ‘doing evil.’ But sometimes that is difficult because, as the old saying goes, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck.

But I won’t use hate speech when I am talking about them because whatever I think about them, I don’t want to lose my integrity and become like them.

In ‘Beyond Good and Evil,’ Friedrich Nietzsche wrote:
“Whoever battles monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster.”
